MKUltra Subproject 52
· 493 pages
Summary
MKUltra Subproject 52 received funding for services provided by a researcher whose name is redacted in the surviving documents. The paperwork covers the period from at least October 1961 through May 1964. Invoice Number 4 shows a payment of $2,000.00 drawn on a local bank and directed to the TSS/Chemical Division by April 18, 1958. Additional invoices and ledger entries document numerous smaller payments for consulting services, books, out-of-pocket expenses for pentadecylresorcinol, and other items. A final account statement dated February 20 to May 22, 1964 shows balances owed and received. The project involved payments to an individual consultant and covered office expenses and materials, with the total amount authorized under Subproject 52 anticipated to increase with additional funds.
