MKUltra Subproject 115

This file documents MKUltra Subproject 115, a CIA research project active from August 1960 to October 1960. The subproject funded psychiatric and sociological studies on institutionalized populations. The total approved budget was $4,005.00, distributed across three related subprojects (115, 121, and 127) with costs of $4,005.00, $13,650.00, and $1,400.00 respectively. Research involved studying the interaction of the disturbed and their environment (Subproject 115), treatment of psychiatric disturbance (Subproject 121), and voting records (Subproject 127). The surviving paperwork shows financial records, invoices, and administrative memos routing payments through the TSD (Technical Services Division) and Finance Division. An invoice for $4,005.00 for services was issued in August 1960. The file notes no final reports were received at the time of documentation.
