MKUltra Subproject 64 received $3,000.00 in cash payments during 1956. The surviving paperwork shows invoices and financial records for professional services provided under a memorandum dated April 13, 1953, from the DCI to the DD/A. An allotment of $3,000.00 from the overall MKUltra project was obligated to cover the subproject's expenses and charged to Allotment 6-2302-10-001. Payment was authorized in the form of small cash bills forwarded to the Chief, TSS/Chemical Division. The file notes that additional funds were anticipated and the case remained open.
