MKUltra Subproject 119 funded research to make a critical review of scientific literature on bioelectric signals from the human organism and remote activation of human behavior. The project ran from September 1960 to July 1961 with a total cost of $6,370.00. The surviving documents show financial records including grant allocations, income from book sales, and expense statements. Research assistants, typists, and printing costs for a Bioelectronics Directory and Abstracts are itemized. The project involved preparation and sale of directories spanning 1961 to 1963. A redacted institution served as the research location, and a redacted CIA monitoring officer oversaw the work. The paperwork indicates the research was completed but not printed as of the final status notation.
