Summary
MKUltra Subproject 90 provided funding for research on the study of science between 1958 and 1960. The surviving financial records show a total grant of $9,500.00 distributed to an unidentified non-profit institution. Disbursements included a fellowship of $6,500.00 from November 1, 1958 to August 31, 1959, plus secretarial and clerical costs of $1,455.99, travel expenses of $313.32, office supplies and research materials of $500.37, telephone costs of $15.35, and bank service charges of $18.33. Total disbursements reached $8,803.36, leaving a balance of $696.64. Quarterly payments of $2,375.00 were made in 1959. A September 1960 letter to an unnamed grant recipient noted the final payment had been completed one year earlier and requested a final report that had not yet been received, with warnings about consequences of further delay.
