Summary
On November 5, 1957, at Williams Bay Air Force Station in Wisconsin, military personnel observed a small, round, red object that flashed red and white light. The object was stationary and then moved upward. The sighting occurred at 11:00 p.m. and lasted until 12:30 a.m. The observation was made by military witnesses including Walter L. Kelly, Harold Erwin, and Captain Herman Blohm. The Air Force noted insufficient data and duration was not reported. The report mentioned the object could possibly be a ground light or reflection of the star Altair as it set.
