Summary
On August 1, 1956, in Lindsay, California, a civilian supervisor at a government facility observed an object during daylight hours. The object was described as half a dollar in size and pink in color. It remained stationary and faded from view. The observation lasted 13 minutes. The witness had no binoculars. A senior director concluded the sighting was probably stars with no movement, and the observer had no binoculars. The Air Force evaluation was unidentified.
