RED BLUFF CALIF, July 1952July 1952
Summary
On July 21, 1952, at 1:35 p.m., a round silver colored object was sighted 15 miles northwest of Bed Bluff, California, moving north west. The object was described as very high and not moving very fast. It was observed by Mr. Schlosser of the Ground Observer Corps. Weather conditions included clear skies, winds at 15,000 to 21,000 feet at 210 degrees and 21 knots, and winds at 30,000 to 26,000 feet at 30 knots. A weather officer advised that weather balloons had been released shortly before the sighting time. No sounds were reported, and no additional information was provided.
