Summary

On April 24, 1956, military personnel at Snelling Air Force Base in St. Paul, Minnesota observed one object with a solid octangular shape and plane surfaces. The object was about the size of a quarter with binoculars and had a cigarette-end size. It remained stationary and displayed high intensity light on the bottom sides. The observation lasted five hours, beginning at 1:01 a.m. and ending at 6:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time. The object was observed through ground-visual means. Dr. Robinson concluded this sighting probably was a balloon.
