Summary

On October 28, 1956, military and civilian witnesses in Panama City, Florida, reported seeing four red-orange cigar-shaped objects. The objects were about 90 feet long. They started in a vertical position, one above the others. Three objects moved backwards and forwards. Then three converged with one above and went into a diamond formation. The objects disappeared beyond the horizon. The sighting lasted thirty to forty-five seconds. An additional white object about five feet long appeared as a flash of white light, moved in a slight arc at first, then went straight down. It disappeared beyond the horizon and was seen for ten to fifteen seconds. The Air Force found no known objects could account for the sightings.

10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING
1) Four red-orange cigar shaped objs, size of poa at arms length; objs stargazed in vertical position one on top of others moving back and forth. 3 above, then went into diamond formation. Obj lost in two by intervening obj. Obj observed visually for thirty seconds.
2) One white obj size of five cent piece at arm's length. Obj appeared as a flash of white light. Obj moved in slight arc at first & then straight down. Obj disappeared beyond horizon. Obj seen visually for 10-15 seconds. No Report in file.
