Summary

On September 2, 1952, a radar operator at Goose Air Force Base in Labrador detected an unidentified object on radar moving southeast at approximately 25 miles per hour. The object was observed on GCA radar scope traveling over a body of water. The radar signal was strong and clear, resembling an aircraft. No visible lights were sighted. The object's altitude was estimated to be less than 4000 feet due to radar unit limitations. Two targets were detected on the radar screen. All aircraft in the area were accounted for.
