Summary

On July 7, 1947, in East Troy, Wisconsin, a saucer-shaped object was observed descending vertically through clouds between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The object stopped at 1,000 feet altitude and then moved horizontally across the sky for 15 seconds. It covered 25 miles in 20 seconds before stopping and disappearing. One object was sighted by military and civilian witnesses. The Air Force noted that information was insufficient for proper analysis.
