Summary

On August 31, 1952, between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. PDT, a small light colored red, blue, and white was sighted near Loomis, California. The object moved up and down and emitted no sound. It was observed from the ground by personnel at GOC posts located between Newcastle and Roseville, California. The estimated altitude was between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. The observation was made in clear weather. The Air Force evaluation was unidentified.
