Summary

On June 1, 1959, near Ohio, two airplanes noticed balls of fire traveling at about 600 miles per hour. One plane was 1300 feet northeast of Clinton County Homer Radio, and the other was about 6 miles west of Washington Courthouse. The sighting lasted an unspecified duration. Two separate sightings of similar objects were described almost identically. No follow-up information was received. No information was given about flight direction, movement, or other characteristics of the flight. The Air Force concluded the date was insufficient for evaluation.
