Summary

On May 31, 1954, near Concord, New Hampshire, a civilian witness reported seeing a white elongated object. The sighting occurred around 10:15 a.m. between Concord and Laconia. The witness said the object moved at an unbelievable speed and appeared to be falling straight down like a pencil. The object remained in view for 8 to 10 seconds before suddenly disappearing without fading away slowly. The witness described it as a large object that gave him a queasy feeling. No photos or physical evidence was collected. The Air Force concluded the sighting was unidentified.
