Summary

On July 10, 1950, at 10:25 a.m., a WOJO officer of the 111th CIC Detachment at Fort McPherson, Georgia sighted a metal object in the sky to the northwest. The object appeared small and had a bright metallic appearance. It remained visible for about fifteen minutes before being obscured by low-hanging clouds. The object moved in an easterly direction at a slow rate of speed and at an unpredictable height, described as very high. OSI Marietta, Georgia was notified immediately. The Air Force evaluation is not stated in the available pages.
