Summary
On April 18, 1955, a civilian in St. Johns, Newfoundland reported seeing a light moving from west to east at 7:54 p.m. One object was observed. The sighting was reported to Captain Beasley. Weather conditions included overcast skies, visibility 15 miles, wind from 33 degrees at 25 knots, and an altimeter setting of 29.25. No unusual meteorological or astronomical activity was noted, and no physical evidence or intercept was recorded.
