Summary

On January 1, 1962, in Morgantown, West Virginia, a civilian witness reported seeing unidentified objects in the night sky. Two oval-shaped flying objects were observed during January or February 1962. They were described as circular, dark green at the center and becoming lighter green toward the edges. A yellow glow surrounded the objects and appeared to indicate they were turning at a high rate of speed. The objects moved at a tremendous rate of speed in formation. The Air Force concluded the sighting was astronomical (stars).
