Summary

On July 10, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, a civilian husband observed a round object about the size of a half dollar with the color and brightness of a star. Using binoculars, the object looked like a soap bubble. It moved slowly away and grew smaller in distance over 30 minutes. The husband noted the object when he started work at 20th Century Fox, positioned approximately 45 degrees toward Malibu Beach initially and then 30 degrees toward Malibu Beach. The observation occurred from dawn to daylight. The Air Force evaluation was unknown.
