Summary

On September 2, 1962, an 11-year-old child in Jackson, Minnesota reported seeing a UFO in the sky north of town at about 50,000 feet. The object hovered in one spot for a while, then descended to about 10,000 feet and stayed there for 5 minutes and 23 seconds. It moved south slightly, descended to another 10,000 feet, stopped and stayed for about 6 minutes, then came down to about 15,000 feet above the ground. It stopped and stayed there for 10 minutes and 40 seconds. A cloud covered it for about a minute. The object then looked like something on it moved. It headed straight up and met about two other things. Then it was out of sight. The Air Force evaluation was marked unknown.
