Summary

On August 5, 1952, a bright oval-shaped object was sighted by a group of civilians near Manassas, Virginia, at 5:21 a.m. local time. The same day, a large orange object remained motionless over Washington, D.C., then disappeared. The second object was seen by a yeoman third class and others. The sightings were recorded on Project 10073 record cards. The Air Force evaluation is not clearly indicated on these pages.
