Summary

On October 11, 1954, at approximately 12:02 a.m., a military observer in Alexandria, Virginia reported seeing one round, very small object with a brilliant white glow. The object was observed at 70 degrees azimuth and disappeared at 10 degrees azimuth. The sighting lasted 20 seconds. No sound or trail was heard or seen. The observer reported that the object maneuvered through 350 degrees. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for evaluation.
