Summary

On August 14, 1955, at 3:20 p.m., a civilian student in Crystal, Minnesota observed one round, bright yellow object with a tail. The object was bright yellow in color and male times the diameter of a pea held at arm's length. It was seen in the west and disappeared in the east, traversing a major portion of sky in an estimated 30 seconds. The object left a bright yellow flame protruding aft. The Air Force evaluation was Unknown.
