Summary

On December 1, 1960, in Leticia, Colombia, a civilian witness reported seeing an object like a crystal ball about three feet in diameter flying over an airstrip at approximately 30 feet high. The object moved at about 1500 feet per second and then went vertical into the sky very fast. Several people and a home observer also saw the object at 3:25 p.m. and again at 3:35 p.m. The Air Force concluded the report was insufficient data for evaluation.
