Summary

On September 19, 1955, in St. Paul, Minnesota, an inverted tear-drop shaped object with a bright white light in the center was observed during the day. The sighting lasted 10 minutes. Witnesses included civilians and military personnel. The object was described as nickel colored with a white center light. Children in a yard reported temperatures between 52 and 62 degrees during the sighting. The object disappeared into haze after about 12 minutes. Ground-visual observation confirmed the sighting.
