Project Blue Book Case File
Navarro, MinnesotaAugust 1952
Summary
On August 23, 1952, late in the morning, an observer near Navarro and Mound, Minnesota, reported a fast moving object. The Air Force record card describes it as silver, very fast, and erratic, in sight for a few seconds.
In the observer questionnaire, the witness said the object was solid, gave off no light, made no sound, and did not change color. It changed direction and speed and did not break apart. The witness compared its size to a small aircraft and said it was very high and very fast. It disappeared suddenly.
The weather was noted with scattered clouds and warm temperatures. The Air Force comment says the report does not follow the standard reporting form, and the card does not give a clear final conclusion.
