Summary

On June 25, 1963, a civilian in Fairfield, Connecticut reported seeing a bright elongated object very high in the sky in inflight with pulsating white light and no sound. The object appeared in the west and disappeared in the east over the horizon after about two minutes. The observer estimated the object's speed at two to three times the speed of satellites. The Air Force concluded the description of flight was consistent with analysis as a conventional aircraft. Nothing indicated this was other than a normal misinterpretation of a conventional object.
