Summary

On November 26, 1957, east of Farmington, New Mexico, a civilian observer reported seeing one object described as long, the size of a bulky fountain pen, brilliant white in color, and leaving a wide trail. The object moved southwest for 8 miles, then 10 miles west until it faded out. The sighting lasted 15 minutes. Ground-visual observation was conducted. The Air Force evaluation states this sighting was probably a/c with contrails.
