Summary

On February 2, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a military observer reported sighting a white circular object about the size of a pea in the night sky. The object traveled from southeast to northwest at good distance and disappeared behind terrain. The observation lasted seven seconds. Initial sighting was at 45 degrees elevation, 020 degrees azimuth. Disappearance occurred 20 degrees elevation, 320 degrees azimuth with the observer looking north. The object moved at dawn. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for evaluation.

Obj viewed for 17 secs apparently moving good distance. Consistent with meteor however obj viewed at dawn & possessed sharp outline insufficient data to conclude analysis.
