Summary

On November 5, 1957, near Santa Fe, New Mexico, a civilian reported seeing a red and white flashing object about the size of a silver dollar. The object was round with a white circle around white lights. It remained stationary for one and one-half hours. A check with aeronautical charts showed a rotating beacon southwest of the observer location, which investigators concluded was probably what was sighted.
