Summary

On August 7, 1955, at dusk in Akron, Ohio, a civilian observer reported one pink object shaped like a streak heading southward. The object was watched for ten minutes before it disappeared in an upward direction at an estimated altitude of 15,000 feet. The sighting occurred during southerly winds.
