Summary

On January 11, 1955, at 11:21 p.m., a civilian in Queens, New York City reported seeing two objects moving south at high altitude. The objects were circular in shape and moved slightly slower than a jet aircraft. They glowed like an ordinary house bulb and gave off yellowish light. The sighting continued for an unknown duration on a southerly course out of the witness's vision. Visibility was reported as good. The Air Force evaluated the sighting as a possible aircraft.
