Summary

On October 7, 1957, a civilian in Overland, Missouri reported seeing a round object about the size of a pinhead, reddish orange in color that turned white. The witness observed the object for one minute traveling east. No sound was heard. The object passed over the horizon and disappeared. The Air Force investigation noted the sighting was probably an aircraft at high altitude reflecting the sun's rays.
