Summary

On January 5, 1957, near Minneapolis, Minnesota, a civilian observer watched a round object through field glasses. The object was solid green with a red flash every few seconds. It first appeared at 20,000 feet and rose to 30,000 feet, moving north and east over Lake Superior. The observer saw the object with binoculars for over one and a half hours.
