Summary

On October 26, 1952, four or five spherical objects were reported flying at high speed over the northern coast of Iceland near Akureyri. Three civilian witnesses observed the objects from two separate locations. The objects had a spherical shape with round, non-flaring surfaces and were clearly visible for about two minutes. They flew in a northerly direction at great speed. Cloud base was at 600 to 1000 meters with no wind. The report was not transmitted electronically as the information was three days old. The source was a newspaper clipping. The Air Force evaluation is not stated in the available pages.
