Summary

On December 3, 1957, a civilian in Loma Linda, California reported seeing two round objects about the size of basketballs. The objects were bluish white with small white dots at one end. The sighting lasted 2 to 3 minutes. One object was noted as a bright light directly over Loma Linda. The object moved very slowly toward the north and appeared to move toward Cajon Pass north of San Bernardino before disappearing. The Air Force concluded the sighting was possibly a weather balloon or aircraft.
