Summary

On March 21, 1957, a civilian in Highland Park northeast of Los Angeles observed one round object about the size of a pin head. The object was bright green in color. The witness watched it for 10 minutes while it remained stationary. The object was sighted at 2:30 a.m. looking up in the sky toward the northeast, appearing as a green light like a stop light. The witness was on the ground. Air Force investigators noted the object was most likely a balloon with a green light, moving toward Norton Air Force Base about 3 to 5 miles away.
