Summary

On November 4, 1953, a control tower operator at Norton Air Force Base, California, reported an unidentified object. The source was military.

The operator watched the object for a short time. It was reported to hover, and another observer said it stayed in the same place. The operator said the edges of the object seemed fuzzy. Pictures of the object were taken by the tower operator, and the film was forwarded to Air Technical Intelligence Center.

In Project 10073, the Air Force's official record system for unidentified flying object reports, the case card lists the case among those reviewed for evaluation.
