Summary
On February 1, 1958, multiple reliable phone callers reported seeing a strange object in the sky over Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio between 9:20 p.m. and 9:26 p.m. EST. The object was cigar-shaped and silver in color with a bright glow. It was traveling at tremendous speeds in a westerly direction. No unusual lights or spotlights were observed in the area that night. The 305th Air Division control center monitored the reports but had no reports of UFOs over the area. An investigator called Captain Gregory and was told to leave the matter alone until Monday. The Air Force concluded the object observed was a conventional aircraft, though insufficient information was available to identify the sighting.
