Summary

On March 26, 1950, a civilian in Adamant, Vermont reported seeing one unidentified flying object during the daytime. The object was crescent shaped and resembled a DC-3 aircraft. It was white with a black spot, traveled at approximately 300 mph, and flew to the southeast at an estimated altitude of 10,000 feet. The observation was made from the ground. No photographs or physical evidence were collected. The Air Force concluded the sighting was a possible aircraft. The evaluation stated that the flight characteristics were consistent with an aircraft and no data indicated an aircraft could not have caused the report.
