Summary

On September 19, 1961, at North Concord Air Force Station, Vermont, observers filed a report of a round, spinning object. It was seen to the right of the North Star at about 45 degrees above the horizon. It changed color among red, white, blue, and green. A separate dark object was also noted. The Air Force said the object stayed in one place far too long for the report. The card lists the cause as a balloon.
