Summary

On April 1, 1961, near North 125 4E West, Fort Massachusetts, two military observers reported an unidentified object. First Lieutenant Mark W. Rand and Captain Harry J. Savoy sighted an object at 11:22 p.m. that appeared to be in orbit. Both observers stated the object resembled a cone. The object was observed for 6 minutes. The sighting occurred at clear conditions with visibility of 33 to 35 miles. The Air Force evaluation is listed as unknown.

Object resembled size of pin head. Object was observed at 27 deg 55 min bearing. At times object appeared to be in orbit. Both observers stated that the object appeared to be cone shaped. It's possible that the object were at the same location to give valid confirmation. The information offered does not bear on typical aircraft. Information received data will be considered upon the receipt of a valid explanation. There is listed as an unidentified. The information is received the analysis will be offered depending upon the nature of the additional information.
