Summary

On November 7, 1957, a civilian in Red Durham, North Carolina reported two red oblong objects at around 1:45 a.m. One object was behind the other. They were about the size of baseballs and made a whisping sound. The objects glowed red in the sky. The sighting lasted 9 minutes. A second sighting on November 6, 1957 in Durham involved a round object that appeared to take a 90-degree turn and changed colors from bluish-green to white. The object was seen almost due east. The Air Force evaluation is marked as unknown.
