Summary

On August 29 and 30, 1957, in Paso Robles, California, a civilian witness reported seeing two objects. The first was a silver circular object flying from north to west, visible for four minutes. The second was a silver sphere the size of a baseball at arm's length, seen in spinning motion moving northwest for 30 seconds. The objects were observed during daylight hours. An Air Force investigation noted the witnesses were young and in training status with the local military post. One investigator stated the post had received some questionable reports before but considered this sighting fairly reliable. The official Air Force evaluation was listed as unknown.
