Summary

On September 1, 1952, the town of Morristown, Tennessee observed unusual objects between 11:30 a.m. and 12:32 p.m. The editor of the Morristown Sun reported that the town was quite excited about the sighting. One object was sighted about three miles east of Morristown. The object's color alternated from blue to red. Its speed was slow and it moved back and forth. Investigators were unable to obtain information about altitude, sound, shape, size, smoke, or manner of disappearance. Air Route Traffic Control advised that no reported traffic was in the area at the time of observation. The Air Force evaluation was unidentified.
