Summary
On May 24, 1963, a sighting was reported near Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii. The witness was Sergeant Floyd Foster, a military observer. The report was sent as a CIRVIS message and recorded in Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
The report described one object at a very high altitude. It moved on a zig-zag course toward the west and left a bluish vapor trail. The observer's position was about 21 degrees 40 minutes North, 158 degrees 5 minutes West. The time was logged near 0600Z on May 25.
