Summary

On March 19, 1955, a civilian witness in Farmingdale, Long Island reported seeing five objects in a dull reddish V formation moving south to north. The objects appeared almost transparent with dark centers and made no sound. The sighting lasted 10 seconds. Investigators noted the objects were approximately 1/2 to 1 1/2 degrees in diameter, moving in a V formation, and almost transparent with dark spots between the two arms of the V.
