Summary
On September 27, 1960, a civilian in Aurora, Colorado, reported objects at 0422 (about 9:22 p.m. local), at night under bright moonlight. The witness saw six round, red or maroon objects the size of a pea. They flew in a V formation, then split into a straight line and faded slowly toward the south. The sighting lasted about 30 seconds. There was no sound and no tail. The sky had high scattered cirrus with visibility over 15 miles. The single witness's reliability was reported as doubtful. The Air Force listed the case as insufficient data.
