Summary

On March 20, 1961, an aircrew reported objects over the Pacific near 36 degrees 47 minutes north, 125 degrees 47 minutes west, about 8:12 p.m. The first object was oval. A second object was shaped like a pencil about 5 inches long at arm's length. The two objects were separated by about 3/4 of an inch. They were white and turned orange just before fading. There were two objects.

On Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports, the comments said there were two objects observed, one close behind the other, and that both were descending.
