On April 23, 1962, near Midway, an object was viewed at 40 degrees elevation appearing as a star or planet. The object moved west to south with a northern declination. Objt viewed at 40 degrees elevation appearing as star or planets. Objt moved W to S with Northern declination. Disappeared behind clouds at 39 elev. No optical aids.

11. COMMENTS
At 23/0715Z April 1962 Echo was heading almost due north at about 450 latitude, 164 degrees E longitude. If time of sighting was time of disappearance objt was probably echo.
